Peg's Charity - Providing Clean Water to Celebrate Her Birthday

If you want to help honor Peg's 50th birthday, learn more about what she is doing every day to make the world a better place.

Among these projects is the MyCharity:Water Project that she has set up for her 50th birthday.

In Peg's words:

On April 28, I'm going to be turning 50 years old.

At first, this seemed surreal, even daunting.

But then I found out that millions of people don't live to see their 5th birthday. And why? Because they didn't have access to clean, safe water.

So I'm not scared of turning 50 anymore. In fact, I'm celebrating my birthday like never before.

I'm using the occasion of my birthday to ask for help from you to raise money - but not for stuff. Frankly, I don't need more stuff. Instead, I'd like to devote my birthday to clean drinking water: every penny of the money raised will go directly to fund freshwater wells in developing nations. Even better, every dollar is "proved" when the projects are complete, and photos and GPS coordinates are posted using Google Earth. Please consider giving five dollars, or ten dollars. Or better yet, how about $50 to celebrate my 50th birthday?

My goal is to raise $5000 by my birthday, April 28.

Please consider helping me make the world a better place. One glass of clean water at a time. Thanks.

Cheers,
Peg
